Ladysmith Primary School
March 29 and 30, 2007 - Sheri spent two days speaking
to all the students at Ladysmith Primary School in Ladysmith,
British Columbia—which just happens to be Sheri's
home town. The students welcomed her with signs and
drawings of Penelope.
Maple Ridge Library
February 12, 2007 - In honour of Spirit of BC week,
Sheri did readings for elementary school children and
preschoolers at the Maple
Ridge Library in Maple Ridge, British Columbia.
Children's Story Festival
October 1, 2006 - Sheri entertained at the Children's
Story Festival in Esquimalt, British Columbia. Dozens
of families (and one curious cat) braved the chilly
weather for a day of storytelling and fun, all organized
by the Greater
Victoria Public Library.
The Word on the Street
September 24, 2006 - Sheri spoke to a tent full of
little kids at The
Word on the Street, held every autumn at several
locations across Canada, including downtown Vancouver's
public library.
