Chemainus Secondary
April 25, 2008 - Sheri spoke to a group a secondary
students ranging from grade nine to twelve at Chemainus
Secondary in Chemainus, British Columbia. The students
were especially excited to discuss their favourite books
and authors. Sheri was delighted when one of the students
insisted on reading Penelope and the Humongous Burp
out loud to the group.
Chocolate Lily Awards Gala
June 7, 2007 - Sheri attended the awards gala at Bear
Creek Elementary School in Surrey, BC, where her book
Penelope and the Monsters won second prize
in the picture book category. It was great fun to see
students acting out the story, and the students' photo
ended up in the newspaper later. Lee Edward Fodi, illustrator
of I'll Follow the Moon, was also there for
the festivities.
May 4, 2007 - Sheri spoke to a large group of students
from several schools at the Nanaimo Harbourfront Library
in Nanaimo, British Columbia. This library is part of
the Vancouver
Island Regional Library system.

May 3, 2007 - Sheri spoke to students at Mountain View

from grades three to five at Pleasant Valley Elementary
School in Nanaimo, British Columbia.

May 2, 2007 - Sheri spoke to students ranging from
kindergarten to grade two at Park Avenue Community School
in Nanaimo, British Columbia.
Glenayre Elementary
April 27, 2007 - Sheri spoke to students in grades
two and three at Glenayre Elementary School in Port
Moody, British Columbia. The students presented Sheri
with a lovely gift after.
Our Lady of Fatima School
April 16, 2007 - Sheri spoke to all the students, ranging
from kindergarten to grade seven, at Our Lady of Fatima
School in Coquitlam, British Columbia.
